  • Senior Software Engineer
    • Senior Software Engineer based in our Innovation Centre in Chania or Athens, he/she will report into the Development team management structure depending on the project he/she will be associated.
      You will be working on leading edge customer centric applications designed to change the Airline industry and how consumers interact with it.
    • Typical qualifications:
      • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an information technology field (e.g., Computer/Management Information Systems (MIS/CIS), Computer Science (CS), Electrical/Computer Engineering (EE/CE), or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
      • Experience working with Web Services. (REST, JSON, SOAP)
      • 2 to 4 years of active Java development, including SPRING.
      • Understanding of object orientated programming, code-reusability, and concurrency. Some exposure to distributed systems would be helpful
      • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
      • Experience in UI/UX development using HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, NodeJS, or other frameworks.
      • Experience working with GIT or GIThub
      • Working knowledge of TFS, VSTS or JIRA
      • Exposure to CI/CD process and tools, testing frameworks and practices (i.e. GitHub, Jenkins, Mocha/Karma, Cucumber, etc.)
      • Experience using Maven as a build tool
      • Working knowledge of JUnit and Mocking tools
      • A working knowledge of development patterns (i.e. singleton, adapter, builder)
      • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
      • Desire for self-education and continual learning, motivated to strive to improve your skills and bring new learnings to your team.
      • Very good English written and oral communication skills.
    • Highly Desired qualifications:
      • Experience / knowledge in the airline & travel domain.
